Founder was fascinated by the coaching process as he ones experienced during the coaching sessions. He assumed that coaching process was stressful for a coach, that it took big effort and drained energy. So he thought there might be an opportunity to make the coaching process stress free + as bonus, thanks to the recent developments in AI supercharge professional coaches with their sessions analyses, so they could not only better prepare for the next sessions with their clients, but also accelerate their professional development.

About this project
CEO set the goal to fix the defects, and interview 15-20 potential customers to identify the real pains and challenges they were eager to resolve so we could better understand who’d buy our product, how to better position it, and market it.

Situation
MVP was developed before customer discovery & validation. It was unclear how big the problem was that the product was trying to address, what sort of customers needed this solution, the competition, the pricing, etc.

In a nutshell:
- Upload coaching session audio recording.
- Get coaching session transcript.
- Get coaching session summary.
- Get analysis of ICF core competencies used by an ICF coach during the coaching session, so that the coach could get insights & improve their coaching process, better prepare for the next session.
What I Did
- Facilitated daily standups, planning and reviews.
- Sourced and interviewed respondents.
- Created and tested message sequences.
- Daily updated the Google Sheet CRM & tracked conversions.
- Summarized interviews and findings.
- Tested the MVP and reported findings in Notion.
- Ensured clear & up-to-date process & product documentation.
- Ensured effective team communication. Mentored colleagues.
- Conducted regular 1:1s with the teammates.
- Facilitated service blueprinting workshops.

Results
- Interviewed 18 coaches and 2 coaching schools
- Interviews with the potential customers showed us the problem, unfortunately, wasn’t big enough for them to pay for. So we changed focus to the B2B segment. However, the Founder didn’t wish to spend another month interviewing the larger coaching schools and stopped the project.
