Be happy with a client writing you a negative review! What ❓❓

Here’s how I embrace 💪 the negative feedback turning it into growth. ✨👇

Indeed, that is unpleasant to read negative feedback publicly available.

Just accept, that not everyone will love you and what you do.

And, yet, they could have been right, at least partially…

A few years ago I wrote an article ‘Your Client Or Not Your Client‘ about exactly this case.

I learned to be more precise about the product return conditions. Even when I sell not a new product on an online marketplace.

A few extra lines can help you avoid 1-stars. ⭐👎

In either case, you can act on that review:

1️⃣ 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘇𝗲. Thank your client for their review! They spent their energy in the end to write it.

2️⃣ 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗶𝘁. Turn it into an opportunity to learn more about the customer and their challenges.

3️⃣ 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗲 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲. Interview that customer getting more in-depth about their dissatisfaction.

4️⃣ 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆. Make sure you haven’t missed anything important for your business.

5️⃣ 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲, if possible, by implementing the required changes.

6️⃣ 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗼𝗻.

💬 𝗧𝗶𝗽: Keep that client in the loop regarding changes being made thanks to their valuable feedback.
